Whom I Belong
June 14, 2026
Faces are bellowing, smiling, there is a cohesion here, of which I am present but spectating
This feeling is familiar I can feel my chest racing harassed by this unwanted embrace
I know what I should do who I should call and cling too but I wallow here
For a game of charades a mask is fitting I imagine the feeling of camouflaging in adopting new stripes for a fleeting sense of belonging
I finally relent He draws me into His refuge my heart pours with remembrance I belong to Him of whom all glory, majesty, power and authority derive
